The exFan project was featured at the Aviation Forum Austria 2026, held on 18 March 2026 in Vienna, Austria, bringing together key stakeholders to discuss the future of aviation research and innovation.
Advanced Drivetrain Technologies GmbH (ADT), the technical project coordinator of exFan, participated in the event. Dr. Hanns Amri from the team contributed to the panel discussion “Shaping the Future of Aviation by Disruptive R&T”, where he addressed challenges related to disruptive propulsion technologies such as exFan and their progression across Technology Readiness Levels (TRLs).
In parallel, the project was presented at a dedicated stand, where reports from the Vienna Aviation Days were shared and participants had the opportunity to learn more about exFan and related activities.
